Step 5 / 6
Two-look PLL
Put the last-layer pieces in place: first the corners, then the edges.
Goal of this step
The 3D cube could not be loaded.
Last step! The whole yellow face is done; now every last-layer piece must go to its place. In the two-look version:
- the corners: 2 cases. Look for “headlights” (two corners of the same color side by side on one face);
- the edges: 4 cases. Look for a face that is already solved.
At the end, a final U (or U’, U2) may be needed to line up the top layer: your cube is solved.

Tips
- Headlights are two corners of the same color side by side on one face. If all four faces have headlights, the corners are done: move on to the edges.
- If there are no headlights at all, do the Y-perm (diagonal swap), then move on to the edges.
- For the edges, look for a solved face (three matching colors) and put it at the back: it is Ua or Ub. With no solved face, it is H or Z.
